Ulster Rugby LineOut Programme
Prior to the onset of the coronavirus outbreak, Larne High School was visited by Ulster Rugby and their charity partner, Extern Charity, to deliver a resilience session as part of the Phoenix Natural Gas and Ulster Rugby LineOut Programme.
More than 70 pupils were involved in the session, which encouraged them to consider what causes them stress in their lives and what actions they can take to better respond to stressful situations.
Ulster players Andrew Warwick and David Shanahan also joined the pupils and offered insights on the importance of resilience for sports professionals when dealing with difficult situations such as coming back from a defeat or injury.
