Science Lab investigate static electricity

Last Thursday Science Lab investigated static electricity. Pupils were able to use polythene and cellulose rods, balloons and even Mrs Johnston’s magic wand (mini Van der Graff generator) to try to move pieces of paper, streams of water and empty drinks cans without touching them. Pupils definitely thought there was a little bit of magic involved.
