AbbeyCentre Lifesaving Schools Initiative

It was a pleasure to welcome Maria and David from Staff Training at Staff Nursing Ltd to Larne High to deliver the AbbeyCentre Lifesaving Schools Initiative. 

14 pupils and staff were given the opportunity to learn first aid with AED use & common emergencies. 

Thanks to this initiative pupils not only have an AbbeyCentre voucher, but are equipped with skills that will enable them to help anyone should they need first aid. As a result of the initiative the school also received training AED devices and £100 towards provision of first aid within the school, resulting in a safer school and more equipped pupils.
