Travel and Tourism classes attend 'take over' day

Our GCSE and A Level Travel & Tourism classes recently took part in a takeover day hosted by Springboard and MEA Borough Council at the ECOS Centre in Ballymena.

Pupils learned about farm to fork initiatives at the Slemish Market Garden and they also got a bag full of local home grown goodies!

Other sessions of the day allowed pupils to explore some of the tourism attractions in Northern Ireland, social media initiatives, customer service, events planning and mock-tail making.

The day ended with a session about post 16 opportunities in the industry from NRC and Galgorm Group.
