Larne High School - Sports Academy

Working in Partnership with LLS, Steven Gerrard Academy and Larne Football Club.

As part of the Larne High School Sports Academy you will open many pathways and opportunities for yourself. As part of the academic strand of the course you will complete the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development. In addition you will complete a coaching development programme through a number of sports governing bodies and achieve coaching qualifications in a wide variety of sports. In addition you have the opportunity to gain extensive experience through a number of coaching placements both locally and globally in countries such as USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Spain. The course also puts an emphasis on those in pursuit of a playing career, with strength and conditioning sessions provided and gym membership included with your place on the course. For those striving for a career in football we can also offer playing opportunities via the scholarship programme through our partnership with Larne Football Club.
