Platinum Jubilee Street Party

Happy and glorious indeed.

The Larne High School Platinum Jubilee Street Party certainly got the best weather for the day.

After weeks of preparation, which included making metres and metres of bunting designed by our pupils, the party went off without a hitch. Pupils and staff were treated to a platter of cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, sandwiches and lots of other goodies, wonderfully prepared by our fabulous canteen staff.

And what better way to top off all that food than with an ice-cream?

Well done to everyone who got into the spirit of the Jubilee! Many thanks to the army of helpers who made the event what it was and a huge thank you to Mrs MacDougall for organising the whole thing!
