Science Lab makes Red Cabbage Indicator!

Science Lab returned today and we were so glad to welcome so many pupils to take part in our Red Cabbage Indicator Investigation. Pupils started by making their own indicator out of red cabbage, using a Bunsen burner to create a water bath, followed by some filtration.

Next pupils used their solution to test some household liquids to see if they were an acid or alkali. Some of the colours created were beautiful!
